Job Description:
Anchor newscasts
Make contacts and gather information about news issues and events in Montana and the West from which reports are written and edited;
Understand and implement the philosophy of the news director;
Field produce and edit stories for newscast anchors;
Shoot stories
Make good news judgments on coverage and presentation of day?s news events;
Write interesting news stories from wire copy, field reports, and telephone interviews;
Work closely with other news department personnel to make sure Beartooth NBC completely, accurately, and fairly covers news events;
Shoot and edit videotape.
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.

Experience Required:

Other Requirements:
Previous experience as a television reporter, produce, or anchor;
Familiarity with ENG and SNG;
Ability to meet daily deadlines, and work cooperatively with other staff members;
Experience editing news copy and videotape;
Newsroom computer experience helpful;
Must possess a valid driver?s license with a clean driving record
Typing skills and good phone etiquette;
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds of television equipment;
