Justin Timberlake shows he has a sense of humor about himself in an unaired Saturday Night Live sketch.

In the sketch, Timberlake, who hosted the NBC show on Saturday, plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the "largest music star" in 1780s Austria who gets mocked when he announces his decision to take a break music from and pursue an acting career.

"Surely you're joking," someone says. "You're not one of those musicians who think they can act?"

Timberlake as Mozart then says he's about to appear in a new "com-rom" play about a man and a woman who are friends and decide to "romantic benefits" (a reference to Timberlake's upcoming Friends With Benefits).

"No, no, no, not like that one; this one is different," Mozart replies, "because I'm in it."

He adds that he's also going to be in a drama "about a university student who starts a vast social network" playing "a young playboy who has fun at parties."

When someone responds that it sounds like he'll be playing himself, Mozart replies that it will be "more complex than that" and will be "award-winning."

But it's an honor just to be nominated?

"Yeah, you'd think to be nominated for a Globe, at least, right?" Timberlake says into the camera.

Mozart adds that he also was in the Austrian Mouse Club when he was little (Timberlake got his big break on the Mickey Mouse Club.)

At the end, he promises to bring "sexy ... Bach" to the party.

Shackleford Wins Preakness Horse Race

Shackleford won the Preakness on Saturday, holding off a late charge from Animal Kingdom to win as a 12-1 underdog.

The victory was redemption for Shackleford, who finished fourth behind Kentucky Derby-winner Animal Kingdom after leading for much of that race.
It also meant there would be no Triple Crown try at the Belmont Stakes in three weeks.

Auto repair-Be Safe, Save Money , Fix Your Dim Headlight Lenses

It was a dark and stormy night , and I couldnt see a darn thing in front of me. Despite the headlights being on high beam, the light was swallowed up by the darkness. In the bright light of day, I took

hypertension pulmonary ook at my headlights. I figured they were dirty, but even after cleaning them there remained what looked like a dull yellow film.

On older cars headlights are a

hypertension cause light bulbs. The lenses were clear glass. When you replaced a headlight you had a fresh new lens, so other than cleaning them, there wasnt much to do. These days, headlights are usually lamps that are installed inside a plastic lens assembly. You may change the lamp inside your headlight, but the lens the light has to shine through stays the same.

Miniscule particles are ground loose from the surface as you sand, clogging the spaces between abrasive particles on the sandpaper. Clogged sandpaper isnt able to smooth anything. Keeping the surface wet allows particles to float and wash away as you sand and prevents clogging.

In this case, the grit of the sandpaper was very high, beginning with 1000 grit on up to 25? grit. Furniture makers dont usually use sandpaper much higher than 320 grit, so you can imagine just how fine this paper is. My lenses were only moderately damaged, so I started with the 2000 grit and began to wet,sand the lens. I methodically sanded and wet the plastic, keeping the surface flooded with clear water. I did not have to remove the lens from the car. A tip: If your sandpaper starts to feel slippery, that means you need to rinse the paper and probably the surface, too. Dont be stingy with the water.

Once I had thoroughly sanded the lens with 2000 grit, I used the 2500. I rinsed the lenses clean and dried them an began the final step. I applied the plastic polish, buffing the surface to factory,new. I spent about 40 minutes on the job. The next morning driving in to work early in the dark, I could really tell the difference.

Considering that two new headlight assemblies can cost over 100.00 (not including shipping and installation), restoring the headlights was an easy money,saver. If you can scrub a shower or polish a silver spoon, you have all the skills needed for this job. Just visit your local auto parts store and ask about a kit for restoring your headlight lenses.

Actually, in my experience, I have seen more employee fraud occurring in small to medium-sized businesses because there is a greater level of trust, a less formal process at times, greater familiarity with each person in the company, and a greater breadth of duties for each employee.

While the percentage of employees committing fraud may be low, I have seen some small businesses devastated and almost have to close their doors because of one or more employees who stole from them.

Types of Employee Fraud

There are a few types of employee fraud that are prevalent in small businesses.? One of the easiest ways for employees to steal from a company is through the use of Expense Report Fraud.? Expense report fraud can occur in many ways, but one of the most common forms is to cheat on lodging, meals, airfare and fuel expenses.

For example, lodging fraud can be perpetrated in different ways.? Two employees could share a room but both submit the same room receipt to get reimbursed or an employee could stay in a cheaper room but submit a receipt for a higher-priced room.? Meals expenses are also easy to fudge.? Turning in restaurant receipts even though someone else paid the bill is a popular scam.? There are also ways for employees to make or create their own receipts.? Do a quick web search for ?create receipts,? and you will see what I mean.

Inventory Fraud is another broad category of employee fraud.? This usually occurs when the employee either directly steals inventory from the business or indirectly puts money from the company into their own pockets.? For example, when ordering office supplies, an employee goes online to purchase office supplies, then prints out the screen shot of the shopping cart but never actually places the shopping cart order.

The printed screen shot is submitted as paperwork for the bogus order.? You should also be aware that employees could purchase office supplies or other business items with a company credit card and then sell the items purchased on eBay or Craigslist.

Depending on how a company reimburses an employee for driving, it is also possible for employees to submit fraudulent charges for fuel or miles driven.? A simple method is to fill up the company vehicle or personal vehicle and then continue to put fuel in a second vehicle without ever stopping the pump.

Lastly, employees could commit fraud by falsifying training or conference attendance.? Again, this can be done by creating their own grades, transcripts, diplomas, or attendance certificates.

Measures to Reduce Employee Fraud

• Establish an employee expense policy outlining what employees will and will not be reimbursed for as well as the type of documentation that will be required to get reimbursed for any business-related purchases.
• Require original receipts - not itineraries, copy of receipts, shopping cart screen shots, packing slips, or similar types of documentation.
• Set up a review process for all expenses that are submitted. Create an expense timeline to see if the purchases could actually have been made as they are outlined on the expense report.
• Check with the hotel, airline, conference, training facility, or other entity where the expense occurred if you suspect that the expense or purchase may be fraudulent.
• Look for missing items on receipts, such as an order confirmation number for online orders. Only accept the printed online receipt, not a screen shot or other documentation for these orders.
• Set up orders for day-to-day business supplies directly with a supplier and avoid purchases made by employees except in emergencies.
• Whenever possible, which is sometimes harder in small and medium-sized businesses, divide duties between employees so no one employee has control over the purchasing, receiving, and expense reconciliation of business functions or purchases. Keep everyone accountable.

As a small or medium-sized business, you don?t need to treat everyone with suspicion or as a criminal, but you do need to protect the profitability of your business by taking steps to reduce the risk of employee fraud or other security incidents from occurring.

Russian State Duma Maksim Korobov has revoked his legal proposal to ban auto-SMS advertising, as the government does not support the proposal.

Korobov submitted a draft law in 2010 proposing amending the exiting procedure of mobile pop-up advertisingto force companies to get written agreement from mobile users before sending them auto-sms advertising and promotions. Under his proposal the operator could not initiate an auto-call or auto-sms spamming. A government committee delayed making a decision on the proposal in September 2010.

According to the Ministry, the proposed law actually prohibits the automated distribution of advertising, even with the consent of a subscriber to receive it, and would significantly limit advertisers delivering information to consumers interested in it.

Valeriya Kuzmenko, a representative of mobile operator MTS, said the new law suggestions are indiscreet and could diminish the market of mobile advertising.

?The Russian market for mobile advertising will reach a turnover worth 500 million rubles in 2011 and the adoption of amendments to the Law "On Advertising" could prevent the development of this promising segment of the advertising market?

Oksana Pankratova analyst AC&M Consulting noted that promotional sms has a relatively small share of the operator revenues

?According to Ministry of Communication statistics the Mobile operators have generated 594 billion roubles of profits and three leading operators are in fierce competition for customer loyalty, which is forcing them to reduce irritation of customers by frequent sms adverts.?

Kuzmenko adds that the automated sms advertising is not always annoying and clients can easily sign off from it.

?The mobile operators are enabled to choose the right audience for each advertisement and such advertising is often very useful nevertheless, the customer himself gives his consent to be submitted for auto mailing and can withdraw from the submission.?

Twin Bombs Target Iraq Police Station, Killing Dozens

Twin bombs that appeared timed to lure policemen out of their fortified headquarters in a northern Iraqi city killed 27 people on Thursday, most of them police officers.

Scores were wounded in the double blasts in Kirkuk, and a third explosion 45 minutes later on a road to a city hospital brought the number of injured to at least 70, said provincial health director Siddiq Omar.

The ethnically mixed city of Kirkuk, claimed by Arabs, Kurds and Turkomen, is one of the more politically volatile parts of the country. U.S. officials have long worried about what will happen in the city and region when American forces pull out of Iraq, as they're scheduled to do by the end of this year.

Eyewitness Adnan Karim described "a chaos of terror and fear" at a parking lot outside the police compound in central Kirkuk where the first two bombs went off.

"I saw a lot of dead bodies, burned dead bodies," said Karim, who owns a small shop about 100 yards from the police building and ran to the parking lot after the first explosion. The second one came about three minutes later, he said, and then "ambulances began to evacuate casualties of dead bodies and injured people."

At one hospital, bloodied and bandaged victims lay on the floor because the beds were already filled with patients. A patient blackened by the smoke from one of the explosions sat on a hospital bed, his head bandaged and bloodied. Around him a chaotic scene unfolded as doctors and nurses tended to patients and security officials brought in more victims.

A police truck pulled into the hospital driveway with four bodies laying in the bed of the truck. It was not clear whether they were alive or dead.

Kirkuk police Capt. Abdul Salam Zangana said the first explosion around 9 a.m. was a bomb stuck to a car in the parking lot, which sent policemen rushing outside their secure headquarters compound to investigate. That's when the second blast hit, Zangana said.

The double blasts killed 27 people, most of them policemen, and wounded more than 62, he said. It also blew out the windows of the police headquarters, where officials frantically tried to evacuate workers and find victims.

In the parking lot of the police station, vehicles were pockmarked with shrapnel and the carcass of one vehicle lay over a fence. Bloodied pools of water dotted the parking lot.

The third bomb, planted on a road, set cars and trucks ablaze when it exploded about 550 yards away, targeting a police patrol near a mosque, said Zangana, who oversees security units at the hospital where the dead and wounded were brought. Zangana said eight people were wounded in that blast.

Together, the explosions marked the worst strike in Kirkuk since early February, when a suicide bomber at the city's Kurdish security headquarters set off a series of rapid-fire attacks that killed seven and wounded up to 80 people.

Located 180 miles north of Baghdad, Kirkuk has been an ethnic flashpoint for years among Kurds, Arabs and Turkomen who each claim the oil-rich city as their own. Tensions directed at the mostly Arab national police and predominantly Kurdish peshmerga forces have been especially rife.

The Kurdish government, which has a separate president and parliament, sent thousands of its troops into positions around Kirkuk on Feb. 24. It said it needed to protect the city from planned demonstrations that it thought might turn violent due to efforts of al-Qaida-linked insurgents and allies of the outlawed Baath Party, which used to rule Iraq under Saddam Hussein.

But the incursion scared many of the city's Arab and Turkomen residents, who thought it was a thinly veiled attempt to encircle the city with Kurdish forces. The Kurdish forces have since pulled out and the crisis passed without bloodshed. But attacks like Thursday's are likely to raise questions about whether the city is ready for American forces to leave.

Griffin has been worried about money; his family may have to leave their neighborhood because they can?t afford to live there. Attempting to get money for the card, he foolishly permits a local trader to swindle him?it turns out the card may actually fetch more than a million dollars in auction.

Since no one will listen to him because he is a kid, Griffin organizes a group of middle schoolers to get the card back. These students can climb, act, calm vicious dogs, hack computers, and provide muscle. So the dream team, filled with school misfits, works to pull off a dramatic heist?and they have only a few hours before the card vanishes forever.

Gordon Korman was himself a Man with a Plan in middle school. In seventh grade, he wrote his first children?s book. Since he collected the money for the Scholastic book club, he submitted this novel to Scholastic Canada, where it was published as This Can?t Be Happening at Macdonald Hall. His plan ever since, some sixty novels into his career, seems to be to keep children reading?particularly those who may not even believe that they like books. His dialogue is spot-on; his characters, intriguing and funny; and his pacing and dramatic tension so good that no reader wants to put down a Gordon Korman book before it is finished. Today, I don?t think I?m actually going to celebrate Be a Millionaire Day, but I would love raise a cheer for Gordon Korman. He should have a holiday just for himself?and after you read Swindle, you will understand why.

I have my own version of age-based asset allocation that focuses on a life-cycle pattern rather than an absolute age. Where you are in the cycle is more?relevant to your portfolio?than how old you are.

The four life phases are:

1. Early Savers
2. Mid-life Accumulators
3. Transitional and Early Retirees
4. Mature Retirees

Two people of the same age may be at difference phases, thus need to invest differently. For example, a 55 year old who has three adult children may invest differently than a 55 year old with three teenagers who are preparing to go to college.
