The Generals (2-4) got their second win of the young season of the still young season on Monday in Rockport.
Captain Catherine Martin, a senior, scored the game?s loan goal, assisted by junior Sophia Zizza. Junior Marie Morency and Sophomore Caroline Fallon both played aggressively, according to Coach Jenn Reagan.
The team next faces Amesbury at home at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
Volleyball
Hamilton-Wenham, 3; Wilmington, 0.
Senior outside hitter Addie McInnis led the Generals (2-4) with 22 hit attempts, with five as kills and just 3 errors as they downed Wilmington with game scores of 25-9, 25-14 and 25-21 in a game played at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School.
Strong performances also came from senior libero Nikki Leonard with 25 digs - 17 of those perfect to the setter.
Becca Daff, a senior who plays on the right side, had an almost flawless game according to Coach Jenn Flynn with just one error total in hitting, blocking, serving, passing and digging.
The Generals next face Lynnfield (6-1) at home on Thursday at 5 p.m.
