In order to increase your open rate (the indication of how many people actually open and view the emails you send) and to decrease the rate of people who unsubscribe from your e-mail list, you can consider the following tips:

1. Think of eye-catching and interesting subjects. Make sure to place an offer on the subject that'll make it hard for your subscribers to ignore your e-mail.

2. Mix it up.?Your e-newsletters should not, at all times, contain promotions of your products and services. Make sure to mix the e-newsletters you send everyday with other content. If you're offering marketing services, you can share some marketing tips to your subscribers. This can help you build trust and in turn can earn you clients, as well.

3. Avoid spamming. Not only will it gain you a suspended autoresponder (e.g. AWeber, GetResponse), it will also turn your subscribers to annoyed and turned-off un-subscribers. You can get reported as spam and your future e-newsletters might all bounce. Limit your e-newsletters to 1-2 per day.?

With or without the use of a lead generation software, it is important that any of you who manage an online business should build their lists and use e-newsletters as a technique of promoting your business.?
