BANNING: International business celebrates local grand opening ...

On October 11, 2012, Banning City Officials, Banning Chamber of Commerce representatives and clients of Zenner Performance celebrated the opening of Zenner Performance?s U.S. headquarters in Banning, California. The company?s state-of-the-art meter manufacturing is located at 1910 E. Westward Avenue and will produce and distribute meters to the multifamily, municipal and commercial markets throughout North America. With the opening of the Banning location, Zenner Performance will become the 21st branch to open in The Zenner Group?s worldwide location.

Alexander Lehmann, Managing Partner of the Zenner Group based in Saarbrucken, Germany, attended the event and stated that ?locating our North American headquarters in Banning was a strategic decision based on years of industry research and our continued success in other markets.? Rich Sanders, President of Zenner Performance and Ron Gallon, Vice President of Operations and Production, thanked City officials for their cooperation and assistance in getting the new Zenner facilities up and going in a timely manner. Banning Mayor Don Robinson addressed the audience and stated, ?We are proud and pleased to have Zenner Performance in our City and we look forward to watching them grow their client base over the next few years.?

Founded in 1903, The Zenner Group produces and markets more than three million meters annually and is one of the largest meter manufacturers worldwide. ? The opening of Zenner Performance will extend the company?s distribution of channels and market share, as well as bring more job opportunities to the Banning area.
